The DXP provider is adding AI-enabled features as well as simplifying front-end hosting.
Automation and AI are making rapid inroads in the composable space. From a speculative hot topic at Shoptalk in March to a core capability being built out by leading composable platforms and vendors today, the trajectory has been swift, to say the least.
Case in point: Contentstack, a market leader in composable digital experience platforms (DXPs), has made two major updates centered on AI and automation.
The recent release of Contentstack Launch, a fully automated, MACH-compliant front-end hosting platform, was the first sign they were focusing on user enablement through intelligent tooling. And then last week they announced an industry-first integration of Amazon Bedrock into the Contentstack Automation Hub and AI Assistant, giving customers a fully managed service with models from Amazon as well as top AI startups within the Contenstack environment.
“AI has caused a major shift in how companies market and consumers buy,” said Conor Egan, VP of Product, Contentstack, in the announcement about their Amazon Bedrock integration. Egan also commented that Contentstack is “committed to pushing the boundaries in AI-driven digital experiences and content management.” It’s clear that the time for speculation has ended, and leading technology solutions are ready to bring AI-enhanced capabilities directly to their customers.
Contentstack is one of the latest leaders in the composable commerce space to announce new AI capabilities. What does this mean for other composable commerce solution providers, and for brands that utilize composable commerce solutions?
“In the evolving landscape of composable commerce, Contentstack’s AI integration marks a major step forward,” commented David Azoulay, Head of Product Engineering, Orium. “By merging the capabilities of generative AI with the flexibility of Contentstack’s platform, brands are better equipped than ever to leverage the power of AI to improve quality and efficiency. This also signals the future of composable commerce: seamless AI integration to enhance operations and digital experiences.”
Integrating Amazon Bedrock into Contentstack enhances the DXP’s automation capabilities to make content creation faster and simpler. The integration’s new capabilities include:
“We talk to brands every day that are eager to use AI, but often don’t know where or how to begin,” added Azoulay. “This integration with Amazon Bedrock is a really fantastic way to introduce this new way of working into existing systems.”
But it’s not just pure-play AI that will enhance outputs and offer greater efficiencies for brands. Automation, AI’s close relative, is poised to make a potentially bigger impact — at least in the immediate.
With the release of Launch, built by developers for developers, Contentstack is offering newfound flexibility and ease. Launch allows developers to push their code live in minutes. Additionally, it automatically redeploys and refreshes caches globally. Thanks to pre-built component libraries and workflows, brands can scale digital experiences quickly.
Across both recent platform enhancements, Contentstack is enhancing user options. Through smart automations, they’re creating efficiencies for developers and freeing time for critical tasks requiring a human touch, and with the Amazon Bedrock integrations, they’re providing greater flexibility, an uptick in productivity, and even security with access to an AI ecosystem connected directly to the Contentstack platform.
The composable space has always moved quickly and the shift to AI will be no different. Smart integrations and simplified tooling for users like those now being offered by Contentstack will be the hallmark of future-ready brands.
